LEGO® 6195080 - 30386 - Hinge Brick 1 x 2 Locking with Grip Vertical and Clamp Vertical
A hinge consists of two parts, where one part engages in the other and can still move relative to each other; they hinge.
This red 1 x 2 hinge has the two parts of the hinge. The hinge stone has a vertical grip on one side and a two-finger vertical clamp on the other side. Combine this stone with a vertical clamp and a stone with a vertical grip, to let the stone hinge on two sides. Both sides in a the same direction. The stones can rotate 180 degrees relative to each other in the vertical plane. The minimum angle between the stones is 90 degrees.
The serrations or teeth on the clamp ensure that the hinge cannot rotate freely, but is slightly blocked in the desired position. This hinge has a rotation lock for 9 positions.
