Miguel is a student at Coles Academic High School and is madly in love with Nakia Bahadir.
When Miguel is invited to a party of classmate Zoe - and with him another half-million followers of Zoe - Nakia is also at the party. When Shawn jokingly offers Kamala a drink he has secretly mixed with vodka, Nakia says she wants to leave, but Miguel tells her she can't because everyone from their school is there. When Kamran introduces himself to the group, the girls seem smitten, and Miguel looks at him disapprovingly. Suddenly sirens sound, and the partygoers are alerted to the arrival of the police. Kamran offers to drive them away, so Miguel hides in his car, along with Nakia, Bruno, Paul and Kamala. They are dropped off at Circle Q, and each goes their separate ways.
