LEGO® 4237158 - 4694bc01 - Pneumatic Switch with Pin Holes
Pneumatic LEGO parts are specialised components to perform various actions using the principles of air pressure.
The pneumatic switch has three valves or ports on them, and a axle which controls which of the ports are connected to each other.
Switch in
- Right position: left port is open, center and right port are connected.
- Center Position: left, center and right port are closed
- Left position: left and center port are connected, right port is open
When a port is "open", all the air will leak out as fast as it can. When a port is closed, no air can enter or leave that port. When ports are connected, air will freely travel through the valve between those two ports.
