Even a mythological guardian spirit cannot always be everywhere at the same time. When the War Goddess decided that she could use some help in her mission for justice, she chose an ancient world warrior who had proven both his courage in battle and his great love of peace. When she gave him immortality, she gave him a golden armor with wings and armed him with a mighty thunderbolt.
And so the Flying Warrior has been fulfilling his duty for centuries: defending the weak and the innocent. To pay the bills (a hero also needs an apartment and occasionally a pizza) he recently took a job as a museum guide. Groups that get a tour are very impressed by his roaring voice and his profound knowledge of centuries of history. Of course, children on school trips also love it if they accidentally knock something over with their wings!
