LEGO® wck003 Elphaba
Elphaba is the central character in Gregory Maguire's Wicked series and the LEGO® theme of the same name. She is better known as the Wicked Witch of the West. She is a complex, courageous and intelligent woman who has been shut out all her life because of her green skin and sharp personality.
Elphaba begins her journey as an idealistic and passionate student at Shiz University, where she faces prejudice and injustice. Her talent and determination attract the attention of her teacher, Doctor Dillamond, and she develops a tense but ultimately meaningful friendship with Glinda.
She grows into a powerful, independent figure who opposes the Wizard's corrupt regime, making her a villain in the eyes of many. However, her actions are driven by her strong moral compass and her desire to do the right thing, even if it makes her lonely. Elphaba's story is one of courage, loss and the search for identity, in which she is both heroic and tragic.
