Robin Hood is the heroic outlaw who lives in Sherwood Forest with his best friend and sidekick Little John. Robin Hood robs from the rich to help the poor, but he especially targets Prince John and his agents who impoverish Nottingham with high taxes. Robin Hood and Little John steal the tax caravans and return them to the peasants. However, they must stay out of the hands of Sheriff of Nottingham who tries to capture them.
Robin Hood is in love with the king's niece, Lady Marian, whom he unfortunately cannot see often because of his heroic deeds. Not only Marian but also the citizens of Nottingham adore Robin for his heroism and generous personality.
