With our USB Power Box, this is a thing of the past and you never have to worry about your batteries again. Good for the environment, good for your stress level and great for your wallet!

Use any USB power source you have available and our USB Power Box will ensure the power is converted as efficiently and optimally as possible. For example, to power the USB Power Box you can use a USB smartphone/tablet charger, your computer's USB port, a USB power bank or any other USB power source. Great to use for static models, such as Great Ball Contraptions and electric display models, or use a USB power bank for your portable projects. For builds that require a lot of power, we recommend using a USB fast charger to power the USB Power Box.

PU City Hub

Replaces the original battery holder for the Powered Up City Hub 88009. Commonly used in LEGO City trains and static LEGO models. A USB-A connector connects directly to your USB power source. You can use a USB Power Bank for portable LEGO models such as trains. See also the list of required accessories below. The USB Power Box installs with 2 screws (just like the original battery case) and fits all existing LEGO models such as LEGO trains. The USB cable can leave the USB Power Box in 5 different directions, so you can always get it in place. Thanks to the 9 LEGO Technic holes, you can now also easily insert the hub directly into your LEGO Technic models. You can also use the classic stud system by simply pressing the studs on the sides or bottom.
