Build along with LEGO® minifigure min226 - Enderman with a dark red block with red top.
Endermen can pick up and carry random blocks. They do this mainly to be a bit more mysterious and unique, and it also gives them a recognizable behavior. They do not actively use the blocks to build with, but they can put them down somewhere later.
The blocks they can carry are limited: grass blocks, sand, gravel, clay, flowers, mushrooms and some corals, among others.
