The new LEGO® Star Wars Boba Fett 75455 is now available. This impressive display set recreates one of the most famous bounty hunters from the Star Wars universe as a large LEGO figure. With 1,544 pieces, a height of over 41 cm and a matching Boba Fett minifigure, this is a striking set for any LEGO Star Wars collector.

What makes LEGO Boba Fett 75455 special?
Boba Fett is instantly recognisable by his green armour, dark red accents, grey helmet, visor, jetpack and weapons. LEGO has translated these details into a large display model with posable arms, head and hands. This allows you to pose the figure in various ways.
The set is particularly interesting because of its combination of colours and shapes. Think sand green, dark red, light bluish grey, dark bluish grey, black connectors, slopes, wedges, tiles and Technic parts. From buildable figure to large display model
Boba Fett previously appeared as a buildable LEGO figure in the 2018 LEGO Star Wars set 75533 Boba Fett. That set was part of the Buildable Figures range and used large hinged pieces, armour panels and special figure parts. The new Boba Fett 75455 is much larger and more geared towards display, but the link with those earlier figures is clear.
Whereas the old Buildable Figures felt mainly like action figures, Boba Fett 75455 is a genuine collector’s model. The set therefore fits in well with other large LEGO Star Wars figures such as Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, Yoda, BB-8 and The Child.
Previous large LEGO Star Wars figures

The large droid models BB-8 and D-O make extensive use of rounded shapes, curved slopes, white panels, orange details, discs and display parts. These types of parts are useful for anyone who builds their own droids or futuristic Star Wars models.
Porg 75230, Yoda 75255 and The Child 75318
These organic Star Wars figures demonstrate how to create convincing shapes and textures using slopes, curved bricks, tan, olive green and sand green. These are particularly valuable examples for MOC builders.
Chewbacca 75371, R2-D2 75379 and C-3PO 75398
The more recent large display figures place even greater emphasis on colour, shape and presentation. Chewbacca makes extensive use of brown and nougat-coloured elements, R2-D2 centres on white, blue and grey, whilst C-3PO stands out thanks to his pearl gold elements.
