Joey shares an apartment with Chandler Bing across from the apartment of Monica Geller and Rachel Green. Joey is an actor, and is trying to get big roles. Joey, unlike his behavior towards women, is very loyal to his friends. He is honest, straightforward and cannot stand lies and backstabbing. As such, he couldn't stand having to keep Chandler and Monica's relationship hidden from their other friends.
